2019 was a year of influence and innovation for United by schools.
In France, the association presented to the First Lady and government ministers an innovative educational methodbased on color-coded recreational zones, which proved highly effective in preventing bullying.
On the international stage, United by schools took part in the 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference in Salt Lake City, strengthening partnerships and discovering new educational models through direct engagement with American schools.
Finally, the organization reached a historic milestone by hosting in Geneva the first session of the Committee on School Climates, during which the International Convention for the Improvement of School Climates was adopted.
Thus, 2019 symbolized the maturity and global reach of United by schools — an association capable of innovating in the field, influencing public policy, and engaging directly with international institutions to make schools places of lasting peace.
