review of the year 2013

2013 was a founding year for United by schools.

It all began with a personal story that became a collective one, that of Lenny Pamart, whose book on school bullying inspired the creation of the association.

Together with his friends Aydan Kapisiz and Avril Aillot, he built a pioneering civic initiative at a time when the issue was still rarely discussed in public debate.

The association quickly established itself on several fronts: media engagement (Le Grand Journal on Canal+), audiovisual partnerships (France 5Lumni), and its first local actions in schools.

The encounter with Amandine Stelletta, who became the association’s patron, marked the beginning of a strong collaboration between educationaudiovisual creation, and civic engagement.

2013 will remain the year it all began, the birth of a movement driven by the belief that every student deserves to grow up in a caring and fear-free school environment.
