For the third consecutive year, United by schools trains young students to become true human rights defenders. Guided by volunteers and experienced human rights advocates, participants learn to conduct investigations and draft reports that are subsequently submitted to the United Nations treaty bodies.
This training in citizen diplomacy enables young people to understand the role of civil society organizations, develop structured and reasoned communication skills, and become aware of their capacity to positively influence institutions.
It is an active pedagogy focused on cultivating responsibility, listening skills, and international cooperation.
