The year 2018 marked a period of consolidation and internal strengthening for United by schools.
Following the granting of its Special Consultative Status with the United Nations in 2017, the association focused its efforts on two key priorities:
- launching an intensive national awareness campaign across French schools;
- and providing in-depth training for its teams on human rights and UN mechanisms, ensuring full readiness for its new role as an accredited organization.
Volunteers and trainers increased their presence in schools, reinforcing existing prevention and kindness education programs.
Thanks to this sustained commitment, United by schools reached a symbolic milestone: 504,000 students sensitizedsince its founding in 2012.
While 2018 was not a year of major media events, it was one of substantial groundwork, characterized by structuring, professionalization, and the preparation of new international initiatives.
