2022 was a year of stabilization and refocusing for United by schools.
After the economic and structural crisis of 2021, the association dedicated a significant part of its efforts to conducting a comprehensive audit, aimed at strengthening governance, improving transparency in partnerships, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of its actions.
At the same time, United by schools returned to the international stage by taking part in the new UN Expert Mechanism on Racial Justice, established in the wake of the global movement for equality following the death of George Floyd. This participation reflected the association’s ability to connect educational issues with universal human rights, positioning schools as spaces for learning respect and social justice.
In a world still marked by division and crisis, 2022 symbolized the association’s determination to rebuild without abandoning its founding values: education, dignity, prevention, and peace.
