United by schools organized at the United Nations Office in Geneva the second session of the Committee on School Climates, held in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the United Nations.
During this session, the 24 Goals for Healthy and Positive School Climates were officially adopted by the participating delegations, in the presence of students, parents, educators, and international associations.
This gathering strengthened the Committee’s role as a permanent platform for dialogue between civil society, educational institutions, and the United Nations.
The event also emphasized the importance of integrating school well-being and violence prevention into global public policies, in alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
