the organization goes through a crisis of donations and grants

In 2021United by schools faced a sudden drop in funding: several pre-pandemic donation pledges were not fulfilled, notably from the Theia Group and certain European subsidiaries that were ultimately unable to meet their commitments.

This situation weakened the association’s financial stability, leading to the closure of its offices and the termination of all staff contracts.

To restore sound governance and regain operational flexibility, the association launched an audit and relocated its headquarters to Switzerland, seeking the benefits of a supportive ecosystem for non-governmental organizations, including a suitable administrative framework, institutional support, and strong NGO networks.

Despite the severity of the crisis, the association maintained its core activities and reaffirmed its mission: to act with transparency and responsibility in promoting positive school climates.
