During the 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference held in Salt Lake City (Utah, USA), the United by schools delegation, composed of Lenny Pamart, Pierre Fabbri, and Axel Salançon, took the opportunity to visit Bryant middle school.
Welcomed by Principal Larry Madden and his team, the association discovered the workings of a typical American middle school, focused on student participation and autonomy.
Extracurricular activities play a key role there: students independently manage clubs and collective initiatives, fostering a culture of belonging and mutual respect.
This immersion provided the delegation with practical inspiration to further strengthen the participatory dimension of United by schools’ educational programs in Europe.
